Prior to joining the AAP, Nicole held several roles within West Chester University, most recently serving as an undergraduate program counselor. She completed her M.S. in Organization Leadership from Cabrini College and her B.S. in Professional Studies from West Chester University. She is currently working toward her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at UD. Her primary area of research focuses on the use of technology to promote a holistic and proactive approach to student support, an approach evident in the innovative student-engagement projects and outreach efforts she developed with AAP Peer Mentors during the mentorship program's inaugural semester in fall 2018.
A staunch advocate for students during her tenure with the AAP, Nicole also volunteers as an affiliate within the Office of Student Conduct, providing support and guidance in student conduct, sexual misconduct and non-discrimination cases. In spring 2018, she also completed her Leveraging Equity and Diversity (LEAD) Ally certification, as well as a Management Essentials certification. Beyond the UD community, Nicole is a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).
We congratulate Nicole on her Rising Star Award and look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role within CAS!
