Elementary Teacher Education at the Associate in Arts Program

The University of Delaware’s Associate in Arts Program (AAP) offers a two-year degree that is equivalent to the first two years of the bachelor of science degree in Elementary Teacher Education (BS.Ed.) on the Newark campus. The UD Associate in Arts Program campuses in Georgetown and Wilmington offer a degree option (AA-ETE) that allows students to complete the BS.Ed. in four years. Students in the AA-ETE program complete their first two years at an AAP campus, then transition to the main campus in Newark to complete their four-year BS.Ed. degree.

For Further Information

If you are interested in pursuing the AA-ETE degree at the Georgetown or Wilmington campus and would like more information, contact AA-ETE program coordinators Scott Lykens (Southern Delaware) or Teresa Rush (Northern Delaware).
